Terra Nova's Fiery Collection: Exotic Peppers on the Estate
At Terra Nova, we are always looking for new ideas and inspiration, and even an ordinary vegetable garden is transformed into an art object. A few years ago, the pepper story began on the estate - and today it is already a whole collection, in which the hottest varieties in the world, rare ornamental species and sweet finds coexist.
We got our first hot peppers in 2020-2021: Trinidad Scorpion bushes grown from seeds are still growing on the estate and delighting with their harvest. Gradually, the collection expanded: classic and chocolate Carolina Reaper appeared, and with the opening of the greenhouse and the launch of the hydroponics project in 2023, we seriously began breeding and searching for rare varieties.
Today our “pepper plantation” unites dozens of species:
Carolina Reaper, Trinidad Scorpion, Bhut Jolokia White - legends of spiciness.
Black Olive, Purple Death - varieties with bright colors and unusual taste.
Sugar Rush Stripe and Vampire Pepper are decorative beauties with purple leaves and fang-like fruits.
White jalapeno is a mild and rare colored variety.
Ramiro is one of the sweetest peppers in the world.
Padron, Ají Mango, Seven Pot Bubblegum, Seven Pot Choco – for true gourmets and experimenters.
We carefully look after our "fiery" plants: we transplant them into pots, preserve perennial bushes, create conditions for wintering in greenhouses.
For us, peppers are not only plants but also bright accents that decorate the beds and make the estate even more atmospheric. They reflect the philosophy of Terra Nova: create with your own hands, find the rare and turn it into something unique.
